Henry on Paroxetine for ten years, now SJW as well

#1
Hi, and thank you Kelly for what appears to be an excellent site! I am 65, always being prone to depression, increasingly so since 2004. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 1995, but I worked out I may have developed it in 1975. It was around 2004 that I started taking Paroxetine (Aropax, Paxil), currently 15mg a day. I don't know if it was a placebo effect, but when I started taking SJW, three weeks ago, I experienced almost immediate improvement to my moods. I know this is unlikely, but I enjoyed it. After a brief but small attack of depression, I was on the up and up, even getting on a high the odd time, simply enjoying not being in this darkness that would come over me - this... just feeling BAD. Unfortunately now a family situation is conspiring to try to cut the effect of SJW but I hope this is temporary.

Once again, it's a pleasure to be here.

Henry
